Integral Anatomy Series on DVD – Volume 2: Deep Fascia & Muscle

This volume delves into the deep fascia and muscle layers of the body, presenting their intricate continuities and relationships in remarkable detail. Through on-camera dissections, the deep fascia and muscle structures are explored to demonstrate how they connect to both underlying and overlying anatomical layers. Building on the foundational concepts introduced in Volume 1, this volume continues to deepen your understanding of the human form, exploring the anatomical layers further into the body. The visuals and discussions not only illuminate the structure of these deeper layers but also offer insights into their practical implications for professionals in the field.

A comprehensive understanding of the deep fascia and muscle layers requires a solid grasp of the more superficial layers, making it highly recommended to engage with the material in Volume 1 for a complete understanding of this volume’s content. The unique material on this DVD cannot be found in traditional anatomical books, offering new perspectives that extend beyond conventional regional anatomy.

Integral Anatomy Series Overview

This innovative series presents a whole-body, layer-by-layer exploration of human anatomy. Each volume systematically dissects the body's tissues, from skin and superficial fascia to deep fascia, muscles, visceral wrappings, and organs. The dissection process is filmed in a way that offers a fresh perspective on anatomical relationships not typically shown in traditional texts or videos. Through these videos, viewers are taken directly into the laboratory, witnessing the dissection and discovery firsthand.

While regional anatomy focuses on specific areas of the body without simultaneously exploring how each layer connects across all regions, this integral approach emphasizes the body’s anatomical continuities. It stresses relationships that are often overlooked or insufficiently described in regional anatomy, providing a broader and more interconnected understanding of the human body. This approach is complementary to traditional regional anatomy, offering a valuable "big picture" perspective.

The visual clarity and practical applications of this approach are invaluable for professionals in a wide range of fields. This series is a crucial resource for any medical, allied health, or alternative medicine professional or student seeking a deeper, more comprehensive knowledge of the human body that will enhance patient evaluations and treatments.
